Though our programming year has come to a close, don't think the learning opportunities have ended. Our website, our newsletter, and our conference continue to move forward presenting learning and networking opportunities for our members. But keep in mind - the most important resource in our association is you. We can create an environment for our garden to grow, but we need a little perspiration on your part to make it flourish.

We are pleased with the many accomplishments that ADAPT has enjoyed this past year. Our Board noted that our fiscal strength and attention to detail enabled us to set a new standard this year in sustaining our fiscal stability. The Program Committee, the Website, and the Newsletter all generated enough donations and/or advertising revenue to cover their respective expenses. The Program Committee delivered a great curriculum offering that reflected in our high attendance month after month, all year long. The newsletter continues to be a timely reminder, and portrays a positive image about our organization thanks to the hard work of our Editor, and those of you who contribute articles. The website not only fine-tuned its look, but allows us an area to store session descriptions and newsletter articles for members to access as a future resource. And Public Relations, Hospitality, and Membership all had an impact on our growth this past year as we grew our membership over 40%.

Moving forward we have a few requests from the Board...

We are looking for your assistance with the Newsletter, Host sites, Program Committee, bringing a guest to a meeting, identifying presenters, and our website. Well, that's actually everything… but that's the point. Our organization is only as successful as the time and expertise you share with us. Your time is a valuable resource to you and ADAPT. We want to make sure it is spent wisely and that takes a commitment by both of us.

So take advantage of the networking and learning opportunities ADAPT creates for you, at our meetings, in our committee work, at our conference, all year long. It is not only valuable during the programming year, but during recess as well.
