One of the great things about our organization is the many ways in which our members contribute to our success. They contribute time. They contribute suggestions. They contribute funds. They contribute facilities. They contribute by motivating and thanking others for their involvement.

Unfortunately, some of our members are unable to attend our monthly meetings on a regular basis, and are a bit limited in the ways they can contribute to our association. So today I'd like you to consider contributing your thoughts and training experiences - in print.

Have you had a great idea and/or training experience that you'd like to share with others? We'd like to hear about it - and share it with our members. Maybe you can paint a picture of a successful training implementation and save a member time and money. Maybe you have a good tip for increasing attendance at the next in-house seminar. Think about some thing recent. Think about some thing that has been a proven success for years.

We are fortunate this year with the increase in advertising support of our vendor-members, that we can distribute our monthly newsletter to more training professionals. Our newsletter needs to be more than just a reminder about an upcoming meeting; it needs to have greater value - lasting value - in order to compete for the minimal amount of real estate on your desk.

So pull out your favorite pen … whirl-up MS Word and send us your article. You'll be glad you contributed - and so will our members!
