December 2002 by Tim Ross Why is it that the calendar has to tell us when to stop and say thank you? And why this time of year? The days are shorter, it's colder outside, we have to rake leaves so graciously shared by our neighbors ... Still, there is a feeling of hope, excitement, and fulfillment only found during this season. The stories shared by family and friends seem to abound when loved-ones get together. But there is always pressure even within our own families to mark success. Success in our personal life. Success in our profession. With that in mind, you have a lot to be thankful for, and I hope you share that this season. A sampling of our ADAPT members produced the following accomplishments in 2002:
So during this season, when we are quite conscious of being thankful, please remember those that have marked our success this year - our clients, our suppliers, our students. We thank them for their business, their participation, and an opportunity to learn together. I hope your whole season is filled with messages of thanks and please add ADAPT to your list of people appreciating your involvement, and commitment to our industry, our profession, and our association. Thanks! |
