April 2003: Synchronicity and
Blending as Factors in Training Design &
Wireless and Mobile Access Implementation Considerations
Session 1: Synchronicity and Blending As Factors In
Training Design
These days, we frequently see the terms synchronous, asynchronous,
and blended learning in training literature. These contemporary terms
actually refer to tried and true concepts that we should consider during
the initial phases of the training design process.
In this session, we will use facilitated discussion and
a team exercise to raise awareness of our delivery options and the ways
that synchronicity and blending may affect our choice of these options
under various circumstances.
Session 2: Wireless and Mobile Access Implementation
Considerations
Mobile computing is changing the way we use computing.
It is the future for connecting people to the data they need, wherever
the people are, and wherever the data is. However, when planning for
a 'mobile ecosystem', there are several key elements to consider:
-
-
-
-
-
Management, support and implementation services
We will discuss how to approach implementing wireless and
mobile technologies within an enterprise to maximize the benefits these
technologies promise.
