ADAPT members met on Thursday May 12, 2005 at Crowne Plaza in Natick, MA. Hal Bettle from Daniel Webster College presented to us his experience in researching and starting a distance education program at the college. We collaborated as a group on Distance Education Advantages and Disadvantages. Hal presented the different type of participants one can have in a "class," as well as delivery methods and communication techniques. Preparation time was discussed and contrasting it with a regular instructor led class as well as speaking to student time commitment.
